Schuey and Rubens spat: No big deal, but...
Michael Schumacher says his Malaysian Grand Prix spat with Ferrari team mate Rubens Barrichello is no big deal - but he does want to hold face-to-face talks ahead of Sunday's Brazilian GP to clear the air
The Brazilian publicly criticised Schumacher after the race for overtaking him around the outside of a corner at Sepang when both were on intermediate tyres in wet conditions. Barrichello felt the German risked knocking both of them off.
Schumacher has refused to accept criticism for his move, however, and said the whole issue was "no big deal". But Ferrari technical director Ross Brawn has already said he wants the two to talk before the race to close the matter once and for all.
"As a team we work well together," said Schumacher today [Thursday] at Interlagos. "For sure, it is like any relationship in which there any always many problems.
"These always have to be solved, though. We haven't had time to talk yet. We have only seen each other at a photo-shoot, but we could not talk there and it would not be right to talk on the phone.
"We will talk and I think it will be okay."
