Monaco GP final practice and qualifying

Summary
Status: Stopped
Here's our full report from that session. Stick with Autosport and Motorsport.com through the rest of the day for all the big stories from the paddock, and we'll see you tomorrow for the race:
Hamilton: "Congratulations to Daniel. They've had the pace all weekend, we knew they would. I've given it everything I could. I improved a little bit but wasn't able to hold onto it. We're going to make sure we're on our toes and able to react tomorrow. We don't mind if Red Bull are quick here, because there are more tracks like Barcelona and we'll try to capitalise on those ones."
"We set a statement on Thursday, we've been quickest every session. Just the race tomorrow, then we'll celebrate," Ricciardo tells David Coulthard after climbing out of his car. "I've done everything I can so far, let's finish this job tomorrow. I'm pumped, it's been a good few days."
"50% done. Let's finish this s*** tomorrow," says Ricciardo, who still wants to make up for losing the 2016 race here.
Rest of the grid: 11 Hulkenberg; 12 Vandoorne; 13 Sirotkin; 14 Leclerc; 15 Grosjean (grid penalty to come); 16 Hartley; 17 Ericsson; 18 Stroll; 19 Magnussen; 20 Verstappen
Q3 result: 1 Ricciardo; 2 Vettel +0.229s; 3 Hamilton +0.422s; 4 Raikkonen +0.456s; 5 Bottas +0.631s; 6 Ocon; 7 Alonso; 8 Sainz; 9 Perez; 10 Gasly
Once the beep machine is finished covering up most of Ricciardo's radio message, we hear a calm "Yes... thanks boys."
Ricciardo does a better middle sector, can't improve his lap overall but doesn't need to - he has 2018 Monaco GP pole!
And Hamilton's third sector isn't great either, he can't take second back from Vettel and says third.
Raikkonen had a punt at getting another flying lap out of those tyres but bails out as it's not going to be an improvement.
Order and gaps: 1 Ricciardo 1m10.810s; 2 Hamilton +0.451s; 3 Vettel +0.453s; 4 Raikkonen +0.456s; 5 Bottas +0.743s; 6 Sainz +1.456s; 7 Alonso +1.489s; 8 Perez +1.773s; 9 Ocon +1.859s; 10 Gasly +2.305s
Current order: 1 Ricciardo; 2 Hamilton; 3 Raikkonen; 4 Bottas; 5 Sainz; 6 Alonso; 7 Perez; 8 Ocon; 9 Gasly
Hamilton beats Bottas and does a 1m11.261s to go fastest by 0.292s but Ricciardo is on another monster lap behind.
Raikkonen exits the pits tucked up behind Ricciardo, and tries to find a way past the Red Bull, but he's going to have to back off, surely.
