We've gone green again even though the GPS is showing Bortoleto's car still at the pit exit.
Yes, it was tight for the leading group in terms of when the VSC was called, but there really wasn't a big enough gap to the rest of the pack to risk an early stop at this stage.
The top six haven't pitted.
Yes, there's a VSC on lap 8.
Bortoleto's Audi comes to a halt by the pit exit.
Ocon has got back past Sainz for P11.
Replays of the start show Sainz sending it around the outside of Lindblad into Turn 1. Arvid then complained that if he hadn't backed off, a shunt would have ensued.
While we were looking at that, Russell bagged Colapinto for P14 on lap 6.
Bottas now falling off the back of the field at a rate of a second a lap to his Cadillac team-mate Perez, who is currently P18. Hadjar and both Aston Martins have got by Valtteri.
Russell now P15, having made his way past Bottas, Perez, Bortoleto and Albon. Franco Colapinto next...
Lewis Hamilton has the fastest lap so far, 1m38.435s, but that top three is very much lapping in a cluster. Antonelli also tucked right up behind Hamilton, with Norris and Piastri in close attendance.
Then there's a gap of three seconds to Liam Lawson in P7. The Racing Bulls is leading Hulkenberg and Gasly, then there's a three-second gap to Bearman.
Sainz is 1.5s behind him now, having just passed Ocon (lap 5).
Phew! Bearman sends it at Turn 5 on lap 3 but makes it through unscathed.
Nervous moments on the Haas pitwall through the second lap as Bearman challenges Ocon for P11.
Russell up to P17 already.
Well, this is like a chart rundown from a vintage episode of Top of the Pops. What we need is Yellow Pearl by Phil Lynott as background music while Peter Powell does dad dancing on set.
Down four in P13 is Arvid Lindblad.
Sainz also getting a move on, up three places to number 10.
Gasly has lost two places, falling behind Lawson and Hulklenberg - the Audi having made up two places on lap one.
AND WE'RE OFF!
Leclerc goes for the inside line at Turn 1, Verstappen runs him into the pit entry, and Charles gives way.
Piastri has a look at Norris later around the lap but thinks the better of it.
Bearman, Ocon, Sainz, Perez, Alonso and Stroll on softs, the remainder of the grid on mediums.
Our current data is showing a split of soft and medium tyres among the starting compounds, but this generally doesn't become definitive until the tyre covers come off on the grid.
Still, indication is that Verstappen is on new softs, Leclerc on scrubbed softs, Hamilton on new mediums.
Antonelli also on scrubbed softs.
Norris and Piastri on new softs, Gasly on mediums, Lawson on scrubbed softs, Lindblad and Hulkenberg on new mediums.
Pirelli's pre-race prognostication is for this to be a one-stopper - you don't say - the fastest being soft-medium, with a pitstop window between laps 26 and 32.
Other permutations include soft-hard and medium-hard but it's looking like the hard isn't really the favoured race tyre here.
Grid order is: Verstappen, Leclerc, Hamilton, Antonelli, Norris, Piastri, Gasly, Lawson, Lindblad, Hulkenberg, Bearman, Ocon, Sainz, Bortoleto, Colapinto, Albon, Perez, Bottas and Russell. Alonso, Stroll and Hadjar will join the action from the pitlane.
Isack Hadjar will also be starting from the pitlane, we should point out.
Obviously you wouldn't put a wedding cake in one, otherwise it would all end in tiers.
The brake shrouds on an F1 car are widely referred to as 'cake tins', for obvious reasons.
There's some last-minute bursts of activity around the front end of Antonelli's Mercedes. The front wheels are off, as are the brake shrouds.
I've never heard a Ryanair cabin crew sing, but that's because I've been too busy picking my fillings up off the floor post-landing.
DOORS TO MANUAL AND CROSS-CHECK
The national anthem is being performed by Singapore Airlines cabin crew.
In other Mercedes news, championship leader Kimi Antonelli is locked into the new spec of W17, despite the upgrades making the car edgier. Here's why Merc can't revert to the previous spec on his car.
Looking further back, sprint qualifying was compromised by 'finger trouble' in race control. FIA single-seater director Nikolas Tombazis has explained what happened in more detail.
George Russell will be starting from 19th on the grid after changing a host of engine components. Isack Hadjar will also be starting in that vicinity after mechanical problems in qualifying which left him very disgruntled – not quite his exact words...
Lewis Hamilton has called for changes to the Singapore track, pointing out that the sprint race would have been rubbish if not for the rain which hit before the start.

Pierre Gasly, meanwhile, wonders why Lando Norris wasn't penalised for that collision with Oscar Piastri on the last lap of yesterday's sprint race.
In other news, both Aston Martins will start the race from the pitlane after the team made substantial changes overnight.
WELCOME TO RACE DAY IN SINGAPORE
And it's been an eventful weekend so far with internecine warfare at McLaren, Ferrari potentially underperforming in qualifying, and Max Verstappen extending his tally of sprint race wins.
