Out in Q1: P17 Ocon, P18 Bottas, P19 Colapinto, P20 Perez, P21 Stroll and P22 Alonso.
Replays show Colapinto lost the rear of his Alpine into Becketts and around he went over the grass.
The big winner of that is Bearman who gets his Haas into Q2.
Bortoleto makes his one lap count as he leaps to 12th with a 1m30.269s. The Audi driver is believed to have had no sixth gear on his initial out-lap in Q1, but his team clearly fixed that issue in the garage as he makes it into Q2.
Colapinto has had a moment at Becketts and that ruins his lap to put him out in Q1. That's a bit of a shocker given he comfortably made the second part of qualifying for the sprint yesterday.
Into the final two minutes of Q1 and in danger are Colapinto, Perez, Bottas, Alonso, Stroll and Bortoleto. The Audi driver is back out on track and is going to get one lap to get himself into Q2.
Russell lives to fight another day, as he posts a lap time that is good enough for fifth in Q1 with a 1m29.985s. That'll be enough to get him into Q2.
A replay of Russell's off shows that he locked up into Luffield - "I've never locked up there in my whole career," he quips - which is what sent him off. He's very lucky it wasn't any worse, as he pushes on for a timed lap to get himself out of the drop zone.
Russell is back out on the track - while Bortoleto appears in trouble now with no lap time to his name and is stuck in the Audi garage.
Meanwhile Leclerc's lap time remains unchallenged at the top, with Hamilton in second from Antonelli and Lindblad.
Russell off
What an odd crash for Russell. Crash might be an exaggeration, but under braking for Luffield his car just understeered straight off the road, over the gravel and he clipped the wall.
The Mercedes driver has suffered front wing damage and wrecked his tyres, but has made it back to the pits. He's not out of Q1 yet but he's got eight minutes and needs to get in a lap.
Every driver has been out on track already and the early lap times are coming in. Leclerc, who is moaning of massive vibrations from his Ferrari, sets the early pace with a 1m29.534s.

Sainz locks up on his first push lap so that completely wrecks his efforts. Maybe those set-up changes need a bit more fine-tuning.
Q1 is under way with both Cadillacs, both Haas, Sainz and Stroll early takers.
It is actually a good opportunity to try out the set-up changes teams would have undergone after the sprint. The session is long enough for multiple runs.
Anyway, time for the serious business once again. There's no chance of rain for this session (unheard of for Silverstone) with air temperature at 25.3C and track temperature at 40.5C. Those conditions are in line with sprint qualifying yesterday, but it appears windier.
We're also on former Red Bull team boss watch, as Christian Horner is set to step into the F1 paddock for the first time since he left Red Bull almost a year ago to the day. No sign of him so far today, so probably a one and done on Sunday.
While we wait, why not have a go at our brand new game Two Seats.

Silverstone is looking superb in the sunshine and the grandstands - including the Landostand - are full to bursting. The atmosphere is building nicely ahead of qualifying.

So, sprint qualifying saw Hamilton come out on top from Antonelli and the roles were reversed in the sprint race. Will there be a repeat in grand prix qualifying or can another contender come to the front?
Hamilton and Antonelli are the standout drivers at Silverstone so far this weekend so it'd take a monumental effort for someone else to join that party.
Let us know who you think will get British GP pole in the comments.
Antonelli has extended his F1 world championship lead by three points thanks to his British GP sprint race win, coupled with Russell's fourth-place finish, to push his overall lead to 43 points.
Both are contenders for F1 driver of the month in our new monthly awards which you can vote for here.

Firstly, Kimi Antonelli took his first sprint win as he overhauled Lewis Hamilton to clinch victory. The main talking point was the return of 'yo-yo racing' with battery deployment dictating a "chaotic" opening seven-and-a-bit laps.
We're back
Hello once again, now that things have cooled off from that spicy sprint race, it is nearly time for grand prix qualifying at Silverstone. Q1 starts at 4pm BST, so before that we'll get you up to speed on what you may have missed in the break from the British GP.
