The front right medium tyre on the front right of Perez's car looks like it's taken a bit of a beating. It's marked up a fair bit on the inside edge of the tyre.
Gasly moves up to third ahead of his AlphaTauri team-mate Tsunoda, with Latifi fifth now in the Williams.
And Mercedes has now informed Hamilton to be careful on the kerb at the Copse right-hander following the suspected damage to his team-mate Bottas' car.
Bottas has just been told he has "possible damage on rear deflector".
Tsunoda jumps up to third in the AlphaTauri, while Leclerc had a big snap at Brooklands which sent him off track.
Hamilton completes another lap on the hards and looks to be carrying a chunk of fuel.
Outside of the top 10 is Norris, Ricciardo, Stroll, Leclerc, Raikkonen, Alonso, Schumacher, Gasly, Tsunoda and Giovinazzi.
With 20 minutes of the session gone, Verstappen heads a Red Bull 1-2 from Perez, with Ocon third ahead of Bottas, Mazepin, Hamilton, Russell, Latifi, Vettel and Sainz.
There was a brief yellow flag in sector one but it's been removed. Likely just an off-track excursion for someone.
Verstappen takes over top spot with a 1m30.428s on the medium tyre.
For reference, the best time of the weekend so far is a 1m26.134s set by Hamilton in qualifying on Friday.
Perez guides his Red Bull to the top of the order with a 1m31.382s.
Given there's no conventional qualifying after this session, we may see an odd order at the end of FP2 as there's no real incentive to do any proper time attacks.
Meanwhile, Mazepin jumps up to second in the Haas. Everyone is on different programmes at the moment as all three tyre compounds are in play.
Hamilton goes third in the Mercedes on the hard tyre. He had a bit of a moment at Club.
Russell reports "a bit of pulling from the brakes" after his first flying lap. He's out on the soft tyre and is up on Ocon in sector one.
Ocon has improved on his time to a 1m31.944s to extend his advantage at the top of the timesheets to 1.4s.
Ten minutes of FP2 gone and Ocon leads Norris, Raikkonen, Vettel, Leclerc, Sainz, Schumacher, Tsunoda, Mazepin and Gasly.
Norris goes second on his first lap, 1.3s off Ocon's benchmark.
Norris is out on the soft tyre in his McLaren as he goes onto a flying lap.
Leclerc lost a touch of time at the Vale as his Ferrari got a little out of shape. We've seen quite a few drivers have moments at the Vale/Club section already this weekend.
Leclerc goes third with his first lap, 2.060s off Ocon but times are far from representative at the moment.
We're seeing a mix of medium and hard tyres on track at the moment. Tyre choice for the 17-lap sprint later on will be interesting - will drivers go safe with the medium or gamble on the soft?
Only 11 cars out on track at the moment. Ocon heads Schumacher, Nikita Mazepin, Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda after six minutes.
That's immediately been bettered by Esteban Ocon in the Alpine. The Frenchman is top with a 1m32.220s.
Schumacher has put the first time on the board with a 1m34.017s.
Sainz has just told his team he has "a lot of air coming into my helmet, into my eyes". He says it's "not a limitation", though.
Pitlane is open and FP2 is underway. Both Haas cars, Vettel and Leclerc are first on track.
A brief appearance from George Russell in pitlane has sent the packed grandstands wild. The Williams driver delighted home fans on Friday when he went eighth fastest in qualifying.
Conditions are absolutely perfect to begin Saturday's track action at Silverstone. FP2 will go green in just five minutes.
Drivers in this upcoming FP2 session won't be able to do much to their cars as they are now in parc ferme conditions.
If you're settling down for FP2 and a little bit confused as to why it's happening after we've already had qualifying, you're not the only one.

Verstappen has questioned the decision to keep the session as he feels it's now a bit pointless.
Coming into Saturday's action, home hero Lewis Hamilton topped qualifying ahead of title rival Max Verstappen to head the grid for the sprint race.
It's a different format for this weekend. FP2 is coming up next ahead of the very first sprint qualifying race later this afternoon.
Good morning and welcome to live text coverage of day two for the British Grand Prix!
