Gasly clocks up another best, lapping in 1m19.840s on ultrasofts. In doing so he demotes Verstappen to ninth.
Another impressive lap by Magnussen on supersofts: 1m18.360s is a new personal best. He's still second overall.
Gasly's new personal best of 1m19.857s leaves the Force India of Sergio Perez at the bottom of the timesheets now.
Ericsson faster on his second quali sim: 1m19.244s. Just 1.6s off the works Ferrari then.
So if we can posit that both cars were running qualifying simulations, the works Ferrari is 1.759s up on the Scuderia's engine customer.
We must also break out the cutlery and prepare to tuck into some humble pie on the Mercedes front: Bottas is still out there on those mediums and wasn't nearing the end of his run when he went green earlier.
Everybody is into the 1m19s now. Gasly improves to 1m19.966s on ultrasofts. Ericsson does a 1m19.403s, good for fifth, but Sauber fans shouldn't break out the champagne just yet - he's on the hypersofts.
Stopwatch
After a cool-off lap Vettel strikes again - a new unofficial lap record of 1m17.644s on the hypersofts. And it's not even the theoretical fastest lap because he failed to beat his previous best in sector one.
Stopwatch
Vettel goes out on hypersofts and boots the unofficial track record into the long grass. 1m17.913s.
Bottas now leapfrogs Kubica with a 1m19.532s.
Verstappen and Kubica both improve on their best times, 1m19.842s and 1m34.535s respectively. That puts Kubica back in fifth as he brings the Williams back in again.
Verstappen and Gasly back out on track, on soft and supersoft Pirellis.
Kubica also in new PB territory with a 1m19.917s lap, seventh quickest so far.
Another PB by Bottas, this time a 1m19.881s. We suspect he's nearing the end of what has been a long run on those low-deg mediums. He's covered an impressive 81 laps so far and the sun is not yet across the yard arm.

Magnussen demonstrating some of his impressive supersoft pace for Haas
Only Kubica and Bottas out on track now.
Magnussen goes green in sector one, purple in sector two, then trundles into the pits - still tripping the timing beam in 1m18.989s. We suspect he's taken an unintentional shortcut somewhere - or just teasing...
Bottas sets a 1m19.900s, his fastest time of the day. Fifth fastest overall, but still ominously brisk on mediums.
That was a 1m18.633s for Magnussen. He seems to have backed off now, so we can reasonably conclude that was a qualifying simulation for Haas. Good work.
K-Mag green again in the first two sectors...
Magnussen is credited with a 1m18.576s which puts him second fastest. We'll reserve judgement on that for now because the Haas is on supersofts, and although K-Mag was green in the first two sectors he may have cut the chicane.
Renault report that Hulkenberg is on scrubbed tyres at the moment - he's lapping in the 1m21s - and that the new front wing has been deployed.

Vettel is back out on ultrasofts but hasn't improved yet.
That's a new PB for Kubica - 1m19.922s keeps him fifth in the pecking order.
Kubica now has a set of supersoft boots on and is green in the first sector - but he did that a couple of laps ago and didn't improve. Stand by...
Vettel returns to the pits, so he was possibly on a low fuel load. Still, fastest time of the day so far - and on ultrasofts not hypersofts.
Stopwatch
Vettel slam-dunks another fast one: 1m18.079s. Fastest so far today and a whisker off Ricciardo's 1m18.047s from yesterday - which was set on a theoretically faster tyre.
No improvement overall for Ericsson - he didn't string together the final sectors after setting a new PB in the first.
But Vettel is now purple in sector one again...
Ericsson is also on the ultrasofts and has just done a green first sector.
Vettel did a purple first sector on ultrasofts and then seemed to back off, coming around in 1m22.801s just now.
Hulkenberg back into the pits now after that brief hypersoft run. 57 laps on the board for Renault.
Magnussen sets a new PB: 1m19.359s.

Kubica now fifth fastest overall with a 1m20.119s.
A 1m21.006s for Hulkenberg that time around. Well, we shan't pretend to know what Renault is aiming to learn from this run but it doesn't look like exploring one-lap pace is the immediate goal.
A 1m28.357s for Hulkenberg. Another push lap coming on those pink-banded tyres?

Fastest man Vettel has also racked up 50 laps so far this morning
