Bottas now dips below 1m21s for the first time, down to a 1m20.756s. New bests in the first and second sectors but no improvement in the third.
Verstappen's still lapping, although that last tour was in the 1m27s.
Bottas pumps in a trio of best sectors but only shaves a tenth off his best – 1m21.044s now for the Mercedes driver.
Verstappen through again but two personal bests in the first two sectors are undone by the final part of the lap, which means he fails to improve. Was two tenths slower than time.
Ericsson has returned to the pits in the Sauber again, while Gasly is still out there in the Toro Rosso.

The Red Bull is currently the only car kicking up sparks midway down the main straight.
Bottas does exactly that – doesn't improve in the final sector but the rest of the lap helps him to a 1m21.135s.
Verstappen gets within a second of Bottas on a 1m22.340s. But Bottas is poised to go even faster...
Perez is down to a 1m23.576s now. That gets him just ahead of Sirotkin.
Bottas failed to improve last time round but has just posted a new best first sector.
Verstappen on the board and immediately second-fastest, 1.497s slower than Bottas.
Gasly's back out in the Toro Rosso. Ericsson has repeated his previous trick and returned swiftly in the Sauber.
Perez improves to 1m24.455s, while Bottas goes quicker again to get down to a 1m21.359s.
Ericsson back in as Verstappen, sparks flying from under the Red Bull, stays out and flashes past.
Bottas, though, does go quicker again – his benchmark now stands at 1m21.674s.
Sirotkin fails to improve on his latest lap, which brings his tally to eight so far.
Perez improves to a 1m25.229s, still third (and slowest of those to set a lap so far).
Ericsson headed back out immediately in the Sauber, while Verstappen joins the fray on softs.
Bottas now down to a 1m22.784s, as Sirotkin improves to a 1m23.869s.
Perez sets a 1m26.129s on ultrasofts. Meanwhile, Bottas has set a new best middle sector.
Ericsson brings the Sauber, with plenty of green aero paint down the right-hand side of the car, back into the pits.
Bottas is back out in the Mercedes, on mediums, and thus hits 10 laps for the day.
Sirotkin improves to a 1m24.982s, cutting Bottas's advantage at the top to 1.856s.
And there's Ericsson in the Sauber, which means we've now seen the lot hit the track.
Another engine rumbles beneath us as Perez heads back out in the Force India.

Kubica was in the pitlane by the Ferrari garage, and having a good look at the car as it was wheeled back in.
Sirotkin sets his first time of the day, a 1m27.830s, 4.7s slower than Bottas.
Stuart Codling is prowling the pitlane for us and reports that the Red Bull garage screens are up with work going on in the garage. Ferrari also has the car in the garage with the screens up.
Vettel, aero rakes adorning the rear of the Ferrari, stays out. Didn't go past at breathtaking speed. Calm start to Tuesday for the German.
