With running reduced last week thanks to Wednesday being largely a snowout/washout, expect the teams to have busy run plans for this test. Hopefully we'll see some meaningful long runs cropping up before too long in these conditions, and also get a feel for just how much quicker this resurfaced and less bumpy track might be than it was last year.
Gasly heads out in the Toro Rosso.
The pitlane remains in shadow but the sun is beaming generously over much of the circuit; Formula 1's photographic contingent are already heading out to begin capturing their quota of backlit action shots, no doubt to be greeted with sighs of "Boring! #done" by those other snappers not troubling themselves to be here.
Vandoorne first out in the McLaren, swiftly followed by Vettel, Verstappen (with twin aero rakes on the sides of Red Bull), Sirotkin and Bottas.
Green flag
The green light goes on, and the second (and final) week of F1 pre-season testing begins.
Looks like a McLaren queuing at the end of the pitlane already.

First driver change of the day/week: Red Bull swaps Ricciardo for Verstappen.

We've had engines firing up beneath us on and off for the last hour so. Clearly the teams are as eager as we are to get the green light. Hopefully there's a swift start to the action.

Barcelona is in much finer shape than for the start of testing last week – we’re enjoying a mild morning (8.9C), the sun is breaking through nice and early and track temperature already at 18.9C.
