Albon is still glued to the 1m23s during his long run on the C2 tyre. Impressive stuff.
Just Leclerc, Bottas, Albon and Hulkenberg on track now.
Magnussen slowed on track at the end of that last lap and has entered the pits.

Magnussen is the only driver anywhere near a top time, his last was a 1m20.037s. The rest of the drivers clearly trialling long runs, set-up changes, high fuel or it could be many other things. F1 testing, people.
Bottas's pace has slumped slightly on his C3 tyres, dropping into the 1m22s now.
Albon is on a very consistent run on the C2 tyre, the second hardest of Pirelli's compounds.
He's lapped exclusively in the 1m23s for a good number of laps. Hulkenberg and Norris were both into the 1m25s in their earlier long runs.

Bottas is pushing his C3 tyres, and has been consistently lapping in the low 1m21s. The Merc long run pace looks promising, even if it is too soon to tell in comparison to the other teams.

Weren't F1 cars supposed to be slower under 2019 regulations? According to Pirelli, the fast lap times we've seen so far this week are all down to the track surface at Barcelona compared to last year:

Too soon! Norris goes back out. Hulkenberg also returns to the track after a long run and a brief spell in the pits.
Norris pits from the longest of long runs today.
Norris has just dropped back down into the low 1m25s on his mammoth long run, which we reckon is well over 20 laps.
Gasly is another serial offender when it comes to installation laps this afternoon. He's just gone back out.
Any update on our appeal for drivers doing more than one installation lap per 10 minutes to be officially reprimanded?

Norris has just dropped back into the 1m26s on his long run, which we reckon is well over 20 laps now on the C2 tyre. To be a fly on the wall in the McLaren strategy department...
Hulkenberg pits from a lengthy long run that yielded consistent 1m25s.
Albon's spent a lot of his 78 laps today on the C3 tyre, but has switched over for some C2 running now.
Stroll comes out of the pits, but has done three or four installation laps this afternoon already, so don't get your hopes up for any fliers.

Hulkenberg and Norris are both on long runs, both are glued to the low 1m25s. That's more encouraging pace especially for McLaren, as Norris's early run yielded 1m26s.
We have some personal bests appearing on the timing screens from Bottas and Magnussen now, which is very promising indeed.
Magnussen's first flier was in the 1m19s, which is a good start.

We're getting some more action on track now, as Stroll and Bottas join those circling here in Barcelona.

The tractor-like noise below us means Red Bull is sending Gasly out. It sounds good on track but the tickover of the Honda sounds very agricultural.
Just Norris and Hulkenberg on track at the moment.
This is a mighty run on used tyres for Norris. We don't have a lap counter per driver per stint, but he did a lengthy run, pitted, then returned to the track on the same tyres. In the first stint he was regularly in the 1m26s, now he's down into the 1m25s.

Impressive Tuesday target from Renault: the team says Hulkenberg’s current long run is “hopefully” going to be a race distance. That’s pretty bold on day two of testing.

As well as Leclerc and Norris circulating, which is where most of our focus has been, we've got Albon and Hulkenberg in action. Norris has found even more time since his pass through the pits - on the same tyres he was using earlier he's now put in a 1m25.0s.
Leclerc is back on another long run on the white-marked C2 tyres. He started off in the 1m23s, but has quite quickly (now nine laps in) slipped into the 1m25s. The Ferrari has a splash of aero paint on its left sidepod as well, although to be honest F1 sidepods are becoming so small these days they are barely worth the name.
Norris broke the longest streak of consecutive 1m26s laps with a 1m25s, and was clearly so uncomfortable with seeing a different number on his dash that he came in for a quick pass through the pits to calm down. We predict another 50 1m26s laps before the end of the day.
Long run snippets: We saw Leclerc's first run of the afternoon start in the 1m23s on C2s before drifting way out to the 1m27s before he made a mistake and came in. Bottas put in a very interesting run that was consistently in the 1m21s on the softer C3s - but crucially we don't know how their fuel loads compared. We've also heard from Daniel Ricciardo that he was happy in the morning with the Renault being able to lap around the low 1m23s and high 1m22s. Meanwhile, right now we have Norris circulating very consistently in the 1m26s, using C2 tyres on the McLaren. It seems unlikely all three of Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault would run lighter than McLaren, so is that bad news for the British team?

Magnussen has overshot at Turn 10 and taken to the old track.
Leclerc is starting another run with some passes through the pits. Hopefully he's about to give us another long run to read too much into.
Hulkenberg is in the pits. He probably won't use DRS there.
Hulkenberg chips away another four tenths off his best time. What will be really interesting is to see if he uses DRS this afternoon, or if Renault needs to avoid using it until it understands more about Ricciardo's failure this morning.
Twitter
Hulkenberg is still bottom of the times, but gradually improving. His last lap was a 1m23.0s on C2 tyres.
If you're the kind of person that likes your Barcelona lap times consistently in the 1m21s, then Valtteri Bottas is the man for you. Since doing his 1m19.9s lap, he's had one cooldown tour, then has completed his next seven laps all in the 1m21s on C3 tyres. Like clockwork.
Hulkenberg's first time of the afternoon is a 1m24.173s. He even took the chicane this time.
Bottas has moved up a couple of places with a 1m19.947s. So, much like we had yesterday, both Mercedes drivers have now done effectively the same lap time.
