Lap 41: Alguersuari in eighth is closing down Rosberg and the gap is just 1.4 seconds.
Lap 41: Rosberg has a long way to go on his final set of tyres and has fallen well behind Massa in seventh.
Lap 41: Alonso remains the quickest man on track, closing to 5.5 seconds behind Button on the latest tour.
Lap 41: Barrichello is 14th, Kobayashi 15th and Kovalainen rejoined in 16th after that second stop. Trulli slices up the inside of Glock to take 17th.
Lap 40: McLaren suggest to Hamilton that he could save his KERS for defence down the long straight as Webber continues his DRS assault.
Lap 40: Alonso is now a second clear of Massa in fifth and sixth, with the Ferrari pair clocked over six seconds behind Button.
Lap 40: So behind the front-runners, Alguersuari is eighth with di Resta ninth, Buemi 10th, Sutil 11th, Perez 12th and Senna in 13th spot.
Lap 39: Vettel leads by 10 seconds as Hamilton remains under pressure from Webber in second and third. Button, fourth, is closing in on that pair.
Lap 39: Alguersuari rejoined in a fine eighth place, just 1.9s behind Rosberg, as Kovalainen pits from 14th.
Lap 38: Alguersuari has also been in for his final stop and is on course for a strong points finish for Toro Rosso.
Lap 38: Alonso resumes and comfortably leaps past team-mate Massa.
Lap 37: Sutil rejoined from his stop in 12th place, behind team-mate di Resta. The Scot gets a good undercut on the German.
Lap 37: Hamilton has the edge on Webber in the middle part of the lap, with the gap closing enough for DRS in the first sector.
Lap 37: Buemi pits from eighth and Perez is in from 10th this time round.
Lap 37: Alonso, released by his team-mate's stop, continues to demonstrate his pace reserves as he attempts a long middle stint to leap past Massa.
Lap 36: Di Resta passes Kovalainen on track to take back 12th position.
Lap 36: Hamilton is shown fourth, with Webber still homing in on his gearbox down the DRS straight.
Lap 36: The changes in this pitstop phase mean Buemi is up to seventh with Massa eighth, Perez ninth and Rosberg 10th as Sutil rejoins.
Lap 36: Alguersuari is up to third on the road but is again waiting for his final pit visit.
Lap 36: Di Resta has been into the pits again and he comes out in 13th place, behind Kovalainen.
Lap 36: Alonso sets the fastest lap, with a temporary lead of 4.1 seconds over Vettel.
Lap 35: Alonso currently heads the pack but is yet to make a final stop in his Ferrari.
Lap 35: Buemi gets a great tow down the long straight and surges past Sutil with the aid of DRS to take over eighth position.
Lap 35: Vettel clears off into an effective lead while Button resumes right behind the ongoing Hamilton vs Webber scrap.
Lap 35: Hamilton finally fends off Webber as Vettel makes his final stop.
Lap 34: But Hamilton fights back in sensational racing between the pair!
Lap 34: Spots of rain are beginning to fall lightly once again.
Lap 34: Hamilton makes a mistake in the twisting middle sector and Webber takes position.
Lap 34: Buemi is having a great middle stint here. He is closing quickly up to the back of Sutil now.
Lap 34: Webber has a chance on DRS but it is not enough and the Red Bull remains behind.
Lap 34: Clean stop for McLaren and Hamilton resumes ahead of Webber with both on fresh rubber.
Lap 33: Sutil is eighth with Buemi ninth, Perez 10th and Rosberg climbing back through the field in 11th.
Lap 33: Alguersuari is up to seventh following Rosberg's stop a few laps ago. He is now 5.7s back from Alonso.
Lap 33: McLaren will surely want to pit Hamilton shortly as he comes under massive pressure with side-by-side racing against Webber.
Lap 33: Ricciardo has been placed under investigation for an unsafe release from his first stop. This will be looked at after the race.
