Sort by
Lap 20: Massa fluffs the first chicane, taking to the run-off. He's fallen a 2.7 seconds behind team-mate Alonso.
Lap 20: Pedro de la Rosa pits and rejoins still well in front of Alguersuari. The Spaniard is also under investigation for missing the first chicane.
Lap 19: Webber is still looking at Vettel's gearbox in seventh and eighth, with the stops providing the best chance for a shuffle between the team-mates.
Lap 19: Sutil also passed Glock on that lap and had the rejoining Alguersuari emerge directly in front of him. Alguersuari 16th, Sutil 17th.
Lap 18: With such a close lead fight, the pitstops will be critical for both the drivers and the crews in the pits.
Lap 18: Alguersuari is back out after a quick stop by the Toro Rosso team.
Lap 18: Alguersuari pits from 14th as Sutil passes Kovalainen for 18th place on the pit straight.
Lap 18: Alonso is pressing on, closing to 1.1 seconds off the lead, but has a moment exiting the first chicane on his latest lap.
Lap 17: Trulli is also a solid five seconds ahead of Glock, who is 16th. Glock has Kovalainen and Sutil right behind him.
Lap 17: Trulli is 15th and hanging on much better to those in front. He is 15.8s behind Petrov after 14 laps.
Lap 17: Alonso continues his response with another fastest lap of 1m26.288s. The gap to Button is just 1.3 seconds as the pitstops approach.
Lap 16: Liuzzi is 12th with de la Rosa 13th, Alguersuari 14th. Petrov is 15th and on the tail of the Spaniard.
Lap 15: Barrichello is 11th but no longer able to stay on the gearbox of the Toro Rosso, as we see Sutil pass di Grassi for 19th on the run to the Parabolica.
Lap 15: Alonso responds with his own fastest lap but he's fallen off the McLaren's gearbox and is 1.5 seconds behind the leader.
Lap 15: So Schumacher is now three seconds behind the Red Bulls but continues in ninth. Buemi is a further five seconds back in 10th.
Lap 15: Meanwhile, Rosberg is a lonely fourth as behind him the Kubica, Hulkenberg, Vettel, Webber train continues to build explosive potential.
Lap 14: Button is told his pace is excellent - and he sets the fastest lap once again at a 1m26.695s.
Lap 14: Senna pulls off to the side of the road. He is out of the race.
Lap 14: 12 laps in and Alonso's pace has eased, could Button finally be taking advantage of his smooth style and extra downforce helping tyre wear?
Lap 13: Sutil is now chasing after di Grassi He should catch the Virgin in the next lap or so.
Lap 13: Sutil passes Yamamoto on the next lap thanks to a combination of a poor lap from the Japanese and a 1m28.378s from the German.
Lap 13: Button is over half a second quicker than Alonso through the middle sector - carrying that advantage to the line.
Lap 12: It's a 1m26.861s for Button as he sets the fastest lap to pull a second clear of Alonso.
Lap 12: Sutil's next target is 20th place Sakon Yamamoto. He is four seconds up the road.
Lap 12: Adrian Sutil has passed Bruno Senna for 21st position.
Lap 12: Button sets the fastest middle sector and is over four-tenths quicker than Alonso where the downforce helps him best.
Lap 12: A pack is forming behind Kubica in fifth, with Hulkenberg, Vettel and Webber right on his tail.
Lap 12: Liuzzi is through on de la Rosa at the Roggia chicane and takes over that 12th position. He will now chase after Barrichello, who is still stuck behind Buemi.
Lap 11: Alonso survives a major wobble in the Parabolica as he got close to the leading McLaren that time by.
Lap 11: Liuzzi sets the fastest first sector of the race so far and draws right onto the back of de la Rosa as they fight for 12th.
Lap 10: Button's high downforce on paper eases the wear on the rear tyres, but both compounds have proven durable here this weekend.
Lap 9: Sutil in 22nd is closing fast on the six cars from the three newer teams. He should catch Senna (21st) in the next two laps.
Lap 9: Massa takes the fastest lap this time as the top three are covered by just 1.3 seconds as they flash over the line.
Lap 9: Schumacher in ninth is quickly losing ground to the Red Bulls, but equally has a 2.8s buffer to Buemi in 10th.
Lap 8: Alonso continues to harry Button but he still can't make a move stick as the McLaren pulls away through the tight corners.
Lap 8: Webber is now closing quickly on team-mate Vettel to set up an fascinating battle over seventh.
Lap 7: Sebastien Buemi is 10th but holding up Barrichello, with de la Rosa closing quickly to make it a four-car scrap for the final points position.
Lap 7: Alonso sets the fastest lap at a 1m26.993s.
Lap 7: Button's car is very quick through the Lesmo corners thanks to the hefty rear wing on the McLaren, but the Ferrari has been strong through the final sector all weekend.
Lap 7: Mark Webber gets the job done on Schumacher and takes the Mercedes up the inside into the first chicane. Webber now eighth, behind Vettel.
