Abt Audi squad goes in search of more glory
The Abt Sportsline team, which won the latest round of the DTM at Nurburgring a fortnight ago, is determined to prove the result wasn't a one-off at Oschersleben this weekend

Its star driver Laurent Aiello, who won at the Nurburgring, lies 11 points behind series leader and reigning champion Bernd Schneider of Mercedes. Now the Kempten privateers aim to take the fight to the Three Pointed Star on a regular basis.
"I reckon we're only just beginning to understand what happened on the Nurburgring," said team boss Hans-Jurgen Abt. "Already, at the beginning of the week, our whole team arrived highly motivated in the workshop. Now the boys are really revved up for this weekend."
His brother Christian, one of the team's four drivers, added: "This victory is a dream come true for us. But now we have to knuckle down, because there is still a great deal of detail work to do on these new cars."
Although they were at a massive disadvantage last year due to their car not being suited to the regulations, Oschersleben was one of the few tracks where the old Audi TT-R was near the pace. Aiello finished fifth to score the team's first points in the DTM - this year he is expecting more.
"Once you experience the taste of victory, you become addicted to the top of the podium," said the former BTCC champion. "So that's what we're going to fight for at Oschersleben."
