Plato expecting Turner to shine
Jason Plato believes that Darren Turner can turn around his early season misfortune next time out at Thruxton
The championship leader is expecting his teammate to go well at the third round of the season, providing that their SEATs can compete at the high-speed circuit as they did at Rockingham.
"Providing our lack of straight line speed doesn't put as at too much of a disadvantage, expect Darren to come back strong at Thruxton.," said Plato.
"He's always carved out a big result at Thruxton in whatever he's driven, plus he'll be going there with no success ballast which could count for a lot."
Turner had qualified on pole at Rockingham last weekend, but he was unable to start the race due to a technical problem.
Plato feels that once Turner's luck changes, the British driver will be able to show what he is capable of.
"His time will come, he just needs to get rid of this little bit of bad luck," he added. "It will turn for him and then his confidence will be up."
