Plato does a Brands double

Jason Plato has scored his second victory of the day at Brands Hatch, maintaining his pole position and never being challenged throughout the race

The SEAT Sport UK driver once again brought his Leon home ahead of the BMW 320si of WSR's Colin Turkington. Claiming the final spot on the podium was VX Racing's Tom Chilton, who had started sixth on the grid in his new Vectra.

Plato's SEAT teammate Darren Turner had an amazing race to finish fourth. After retiring from race one with suspension failure, he worked his way up from 21st on the grid to challenge Chilton for the final podium slot.

Matt Neal claimed fifth position, while his Dynamics teammate Shedden retired. Matt Jackson, who was disqualified from race one for ignoring a flag to pit, started from the back of the grid but powered up to eighth, behind VX Racing's Fabrizio Giovanardi.
