Muller and Kox clash after BTCC meeting
Harsh words were exchanged between BTCC rivals Yvan Muller and Peter Kox following last week's Snetterton night races
The two have clashed numerous times since entering the series last year.
Honda's Kox took his maiden race win, but afterwards slated the Frenchman.
Speaking at the post-race press conference, the Dutchman said, 'Everyone at the front raced with respect, but if some people [at this point he looked at third-placed Muller] had been involved it could have been nasty.'
Muller interrupted twice to say 'f*** off' and then 'You're Dutch, aren't you?'
Muller hit back again when explaining his collision with Kox's team-mate, James Thompson.
'I'm very sorry it was James,' he said.
'If it was him [Kox] then I don't f***ing care. I've spoken with James and it's OK - you can do that with him, because he's intelligent.'
BTCC boss Alan Gow remained unconcerned about the ill-tempered spat.
'I didn't hear it, but I'm not worried about swear words.
'To an Australian they're second nature and a bit of banter is certainly better than some of the boring corporate speak they come up with.'
