Leslie take Sprint pole at Oulton
Another Auto Trader British Touring Car Championship qualifying session, another Nissan Primera front row.
As in the earlier session today, David Leslie claimed pole for the Sprint race, ahead of team-mate Laurent Aiello.
The One-Shot Showdown looked like it could be interesting, with rain about an hour before it started.
In the end the track was no more than damp and greasy, and progressively dried out.
That favoured the later runners, and the two Nissans, running last, made the most of it.
Aiello went round over 1.3s faster than his nearest competitor - and then Leslie went almost 0.3s quicker than that.
Best of the rest was again James Thompson, although the Honda Accord driver was 1.6s away from pole; reigning champion Rickard Rydell was fourth, in his Volvo S40.
Matt Neal was, unsurprisingly, the best Independent runner, qualifying ninth overall in his Nissan Primera.
The tricky conditions saw the early runners taking things very gingerly - the only casualty was Alain Menu, who ran off the track in his Ford Mondeo at Lodge.
He regained the track, but crossed the line almost 5s slower than the next slowest driver.
