Jordan takes maiden BTCC win

Mike Jordan took his maiden BTCC win on Sunday after finishing on top in the third race at the Mondello Park circuit

Jordan, driving the Honda Integra, led every lap of the event to finish just over a second in front of Colin Turkington in the MG. Jordan's victory completed a hat-trick of wins for Honda, following the two wins from reigning champion Matt Neal.

Neal finished a distant third in the final race of the day, with SEAT's James Thompson and Italian Fabrizio Giovanardi completing the top five.

Neal's third place allowed him to stay on top of the standings, two points ahead of Turkington.
