Turkington and Huisman set for Macau
Colin Turkington and Duncan Huisman will compete in the season finale of the World Touring Car Championship driving a pair of BMWs
The pair will drive for the WSR team that runs Turkington and Tom Onslow-Cole in the BTCC this year, and this weekend at Brands Hatch they are running Turkington under the Team RAC banner.
Turkington has admitted that he is not setting his goals too high for this weekend, but he added that he is looking forward to the challenge of Macau at the end of the year.
"I can't wait to race in Macau," he said. "The Brands Hatch round will be a superb experience for me and Macau will bring new challenges as it's recognised as one of the most demanding circuits in the world."
Huisman has a good record at Macau , where he has won once in the WTCC and three times before the race was part of the championship.
"I have a good record at Macau and will certainly be using that experience to do everything I can to record race wins," he said.
"The team have given me a superb opportunity and it's one I'm very much looking forward to."
Huisman won a race at Macau in 2005 when he was drafted in to help BMW's bid for the world title, and he finished second in one of the races last year driving for BMW Team Italy-Spain.
