SS10, Gare de Carbuccia II: It's a tie
Rally leader Jesus Puras and his nearest challenger Gilles Panizzi tied for fastest time on SS10, Gare de Garbuccia II - leaving the Citroen ace to nurse his 15.9s lead over the revved-up Peugeot pedaller
The Spaniard and the Frenchman both completed the stage in 7m17.8s - just three seconds slower than the first blast through the 11.2km test, despite conditions now erring on the overcast and damp side.
Didier Auriol's Peugeot was third, ahead of Francois Delecour's Ford, and that's how the overall leaderboard looks too, with the Subaru's of Petter Solberg and Markko Martin completing the overall top six.
Colin McRae holds on to seventh overall, a place outside the points in his Ford, but his lead over Richard Burns was reduced to just 19.7s after a spin and a stall near the end of the stage.
