Service O - Sotico: Final stretch
Marcus Gronholm (Peugeot) - rally leader: "On the first corner I hit a big stone in a rut with my left front wheel. It knocked the steering out of line and I was quite worried."
(Subaru) - second, +41.0s: "I don't want to take risks and that was a new stage, so I took it steady. There were a lot of places where I could see that people who did need to cut had done. Some weren't legal to be fair. Marcus looks to have backed off as well."
(Peugeot) - third, +1m18.1s: "That was a new stage and it wasn't easy. I put wider tyres on than this morning and they were better."
(Peugeot) - fourth, +1m31.5: "The alternator belt was broken for the last 10km and for the last six or seven, the engine was cutting out. Every junction and corner was difficult because of very poor engine response."
(Ford) - fifth, +1m42.1s: "The gap [to Rovanpera] is still a lot [to make up over 6km on last stage]."
(Mitsubishi) - sixth, +3m03.7s: "We stalled the engine at the last junction, just like yesterday. It cut out under heavy braking. It's like some sort of fuel injector or electronic problem and because of it I did a half spin and hand to reverse. It cost us 10 seconds at least."
(Subaru) - seventh, +3m40.1s: "Maybe I tried a bit too hard and got too sideways on that one."
(Ford) - eighth, +4m58.1s: I could have been quicker. There are places where you can cut junctions, where I did not cut."
(Peugeot) - ninth, +5m06.4s: "I pushed very hard, but I did some mistakes. I was pushing too hard, but it's fantastic with the left-foot braking."
(Hyundai) - 12th, +8m11.3s: "I had to do the last 6.5km with only two and a half cylinders because of a bad misfire. I thought it was a piston at first, then after 500 metres it cleared up, but then it came back."
