Service J, Felindre: Notes, quotes

Marcus Gronholm (Peugeot) - leader: "There was a lot of water in Rhondda, especially in the ruts. I don't feel under any pressure at all. But ask Richard, I bet he's feeling the way I did last year."

(Peugeot) - second, +1:46.7s: "We had full heater on and fog lights. We had the alternator warning light on - the engine even stopped briefly, but it started up immediately. Then in the last stage I went off just before the finish line. I can push today because there's no pressure for the manufacturers' championship."

(Subaru) - third, +2:22.9s: "I've got two more stages to go in the beautiful Welsh weather. It's difficult to enjoy these roads when they're like this. Of course the championship is something I'm thinking about, but I've got a few more hours before anything happens so I'll just try to enjoy it."

(Hyundai) - fourth, +5:53.5s: "I went five km into the first stage and the wipers stopped. Between the two stages we took the spare cable for the intercom and rigged it up so we could do it manually. But it still wasn't ideal. I'd been hoping for a nice easy cruise to the finish today but no chance."

(Hyundai) - sixth, +7:19.7s: UPDATE: His wipers failed at the start of the opening stage. Fixed them and also disconnected co-driver's wiper so as not to overload motor.

(Peugeot) - seventh, +7:53.6s: "The conditions aren't nice and our suspension is too hard, it's bouncing around everywhere. I think this will probably be the last time I do these Welsh stages and so I will go more slowly in the last two to look around me."

(Skoda) - 10th, +6:34.9s: UPDATE: Has some water coming through the windscreen.
