Rollcentre withdraw LMP2 entry

Rollcentre Racing will not race a Radical-Judd in the LMP2 category at the Le Mans 24 Hours this year

The team had been put on the entry list in the second prototype category in addition to their entry in LMP1 with a Pescarolo-Judd, but team boss Martin Short has been able to sell the Radical SR9 to Embassy Racing.

Short will not race in the event himself this year, as he has decided to concentrate on running the team.

The drivers for the customer Pescarolo entry will be Rollcentre regular Joao Barbosa, former British GT racer Phil Keen, and former British Formula Three driver Stuart Hall.

The slot vacated by the second Rollcentre car has been handed to the first car on the reserve list for the race, which is the PSI Experience Corvette C6.R in the GT1 class.

The team are running a regular programme in the FIA GT championship this year, and they are currently second in the standings after the opening round of the season.

French pair Claude-Yves Gosselin and David Hallyday are the only drivers confirmed for the car at the moment, which is the fifth Corvette on the entry list.
