Aston Martin recalls Pedro Lamy for Silverstone World Endurance
Former Peugeot driver Pedro Lamy will return to Silverstone, scene of his Tourist Trophy victory in 2005, with Aston Martin for the World Endurance Championship opener later this month
Lamy, who was a regular with the British marque in 2005-06, will race one of Aston Martin Racing's two GTE Pro cars after being confirmed for its additional fifth entry for the Le Mans 24 Hours in June along with Canadian sportscar regular Paul Dalla Lana.
The new signings, who raced one of AMR's Aston Martin Vantage GTEs at the Sebring 12 Hours last month, are part of a reshuffled line-up for Silverstone.
AMR has decided to run three rather than two drivers in each of its two Pro entries: Bruno Senna moves across to share the lead car with Darren Turner and Stefan Mucke; and Lamy and Dalla Lana will drive the second alongside Frederic Makowiecki.

AMR team principal John Gaw said: "Now that we have 14 of our 15 drivers for Le Mans, it makes sense to get them out as much as possible.
"We can't run three cars, because two of our drivers [Rob Bell and Peter Dumbreck] are racing at Monza in the Blancpain Endurance Series and unavailable."
Potential occupants of the remaining seat include ex-Formula Renault 3.5 and new Porsche Supercup driver Richie Stanaway, who tested for the team at Road Atlanta earlier this year, and AMR's new junior drivers, Jonny Adam and Daniel McKenzie.
TOP FERRARI AND PORSCHE SQUADS SETTLE LINE-UPS
AF Corse has confirmed that Gianmaria Bruni and Giancarolo Fisichella will share one of its GTE Pro class Ferrari 458 Italias in the WEC. Sportscar newcomer Kamui Kobayashi and Toni Vilander drive the second car.
The factory Porsche team operated by Manthey Racing will have three drivers in each of its 991-shape 911 RSRs on the car's debut, with Timo Bernhard and Romain Dumas joining the regular drivers as they will at Le Mans.
Former Sebring 12 Hours winner Philipp Peter has come in to take the GTE Am class 8Star/AF Corse Ferrari seat earmarked for Marco Cioci, who moves across to AF's own Am entry alongside Matt Griffin and Jack Gerber.
Peter is confirmed alongside 8Star boss Enzo Potolicchio and Rui Aguas for the opening two WEC races at Silverstone and Spa after which Australian V8 Supercars star Jason Bright will take over for Le Mans.
A decision on the third driver for the remaining five races of the WEC will be taken after Le Mans.
Former Peugeot test driver Jean-Karl Vernay has been picked up by the Imsa Performance squad after winning last year's Porsche Carrera Cup France title. He will share the French squad's GTE Am class Porsche 911 GT3-RSR with team boss Raymond Narac and Christophe Bourret.
The six-hour Silverstone WEC opener takes place on Sunday, April 14, with practice starting on the Friday.
