6h46m Trouble for the #63 Felbermayr Porsche as it is pulled out of the gravel by one of the rescue vehicles.
6h43m A battle is also developing nicely for the lead in GTE Am between the two Larbre Competition entries. The #70 Porsche is second but running consistently quicker than the #50 Chevrolet Corvette.
6h41m The light is fading quickly with clearing skies overhead. There is great potential for a night-long fight with two battles to watch for the lead and for third place.
6h39m Regular service for the #7 but Lotterer takes over the lead for Audi in the #2.
6h38m Hot on the heels of that pitstop race, the leading #7 Peugeot pits.
6h38m So Rockenfeller takes over third position in the Audi #1 with Pedro Lamy just a few seconds behind him in the #9 Peugeot.
6h37m Both Lamy and Rockenfeller stay in their respective cars, but it's a quicker stop by the #1 Audi crew and track position is gained.
6h36m They pit together and this will be a pitstop race between the two crews.
6h35m But near the front the battle is well and truly on for third position between the #9 Peugeot and the #1 Audi.
6h35m The #88 Felbermayr Porsche is in the gravel and being rescued by the marshals.
6h34m Neel Jani has brought the #12 Rebellion into the pits for service, handing over seventh position to Emmanuele Collard in the #16 Pescarolo.
6h32m Nicolas Minassian is a further minute behind the battle for third in the #8 Peugeot.
6h31m Around one minute behind them, the #9 Peugeot is holding on to third place, but Mike Rockenfeller is closing down the gap in the #1 Audi.
6h29m Lotterer lowers the gap to the leading Peugeot once again. There is 20 seconds between them, with the Audi #2 now turning laps under 3m30s.
6h26m In GTE Am, the #50 Larbre competition leading entry has moved up to 33rd position overall, passing the #89 GTE Pro Farnbacher Ferrari. That car is still garaged and under repair.
6h26m The gap between Gene and Lotterer remains fairly stable at 21s as the pair head into lap 97.
6h23m The sun is beginning to set behind the grandstand now. The dust illuminating as it raises up from the campsites in the fields beyond.
6h22m The GTE class-leading BMW has just trundled past our window on its way down to the box for another routine stop. Priaulx will now lose the lead to Oliver Gavin's Corvette.
6h20m Lotterer is lapping very quickly at the moment. His last lap was a 3m29.853s, which was 6s faster than the leader Gene.
6h19m Nicolas Minassian stays in the car as the #42 Strakka Racing machine completes that stop/go penalty and is released.
6h18m Marc Gene leads the race by 25 seconds ahead of the #2 Audi, as the #8 Peugeot pits.
6h17m The #89 Team Farnbacher Ferrari has made it back to the pits. As well as rear bodywork damage it had a right rear puncture.
6h16m #42 Strakka Racing entry has been given a stop/go penalty by the ACO. That is the fourth placed car in LMP2.
6h14m The #89 Hankook Team Farnbacher Ferraris is touring slowly on the circuit after sustaining rear end damage.
6h14m Andre Lotterer has taken over behind the wheel of the #2 as the battle for the lead continues between it and the #7 Peugeot.
6h11m It's regular service for the #2 and the #7 Peugeot takes over the lead.
6h09m The leader is in and Marcel Fassler climbs out of the #2 Audi.
6h09m The top two are consistently pulling away from the others as the light begins to fade slowly, as Fassler and Gene run laps in the low 3m30s range, while the three cars chasing are drifting into 3m35s and higher.
6h06m Up front, Marcel Fassler has extended the lead over the #7 peugeot to 62 seconds. The #9 and #8 Peugeots are third and fourth, with Audi #1 fifth.
6h04m The #40 Race Performance Oreca has stopped briefly at Arnage. Marc Rostan gets a push and rejoins.
6h03m In fact, the #48 pits and Dominik Kraihmer climbs out of the car.
6h02m In LMP2, the #48 Oreca Matmut entry holds a two-lap lead over the Greaves Motorsport entry with five hours of the race complete.
6h01m The #2 Audi now leads by one minute ahead of Peugeot #7.
5h59m Rockenfeller remains in the #1 car and rejoins in fifth.
5h59m New tyres for that car though Loic Duval stays in the cockpit.
5h58m So the #2 Audi leads during the latest phase of stops as the battle continues.
5h56m Mike Rockenfeller brings the third-placed Audi in for the first fuel stop of his stint.
