18h23m The #007 Lola-Aston Martin is back underway after extensive gearbox repairs in the garage. That car has dropped to 14th overall after around an hour in the pits.
18h24m The #40 Quifel Ginetta-Zytek heads into the pitlane. The car is currently seventh in class, although they will be looking over their shoulders a little - they're currently 15 laps down the road from sixth, but just over 90 seconds ahead of the #28 Radical SR9-Judd.
18h27m Davidson has been in for another tank of diesel in the rapid #1 car and is back out in pursuit of the leading Audis.
18h28m Good battle in the LMP2 as Marino Franchitti in the #26 Highcroft HPD sets a searing pace, his last tour of the track being a 3m36.613s - around three seconds faster than the #42 Strakka HPD. Currently there are four LMP2 cars in the top 13, with the #35 Pescarolo-Judd and the #25 Lola HPD all in the mix.
18h30m #40 Ginetta-Zytek still in the pits, and the delay has cost the team at least one position so far on circuit - Ralph Meichtry in the #28 Radical SR9-Judd slipping by to snatch seventh.
18h31m The #15 Kolles Audi makes a stop from seventh overall, while the #4 Peugeot is also in for fuel.
18h32m #25 RML Lola-HPD pits, but Andy Wallace remains behind the wheel as the team just adds fuel and screen clear. Good stop for the team and they're back out.
18h33m Davidson is still reeling in the leading Audi's in the #1. His latest tour is a 3m23s, with Romain Dumas on a 3m28s lap in the lead Audi.
18h35m Jean Alesi pits in the #95 Ferrari 430 which is currently second in class and trails the overall leader, the #77 Felbermayr Porsche 997, by just over one lap.
18h36m The #8 Audi with Marcel Fassler at the wheel is clocked 1m23s behind the leader.
18h36m Oh! Another class leader in trouble and this time it is the #50 Saleen.
18h36m Alesi steps out of the car and gives a smile to the cameras after another double stint. Giancarlo Fisichella assumes driving duties.
18h37m The #50 has an advantage of around 10 laps in GT1 but has just been off in the gravel at the Ford Chicane.
18h38m The Saleen has been wheeled in to its garage and the mechanics go to work pulling gravel out of the leading GT1 car.
18h38m Worth mentioning that the #95 Ferrari has been lokced in a very engaging battle with the #89 Hankook Ferrari 430, which is little over a minute down the road - it'll be even closer following that pitstop.
18h40m It looks like the Saleen crew mainly need to clean gravel out that machine and it may be able to get away again ahead of the Young Driver AMR #52.
18h41m Tough times for the #40 Quifel Ginetta-Zytek, which is still in the pitlane and has now dropped to ninth in class - although they do now have a bit of a gap to tenth, with the #39 KSM Lola-Judd nine laps adrift at present.
18h45m The #7 Audi is in for service from fourth. Allan McNish takes a tank of fuel back out on to the circuit, where he is currently defending the advances of the #4 Oreca Peugeot
18h45m More bad news for the #64 Corvette, which of course was leading until that collision with Davidson's Peugeot. The car is issuing smoke from the sides and that looks like fairly terminal engine problems. The car comes to a halt at the side of the track and is rolled back into a gap in the fencing by the ever vigilant marshals.
18h47m Confirmation from Corvette that the #64 car has been retired - Oliver Gavin reported engine problems and was instructed to pull over.
18h48m A 3m20s lap for Davidson the last time by as he continues his relentless chase of the Audis.
18h49m Very crumpled front on the #95 AF Corse Ferrari 430, which suffers a slightly bizarre accident as it goes straight on at Indianapolis. Almost looked like the throttle was stuck open and there's signs of quite a heavy impact all along the mangled front bumper. The car is up on the stands and is pushed back into the garage.
18h50m Working through the stops, Dumas' lead in the #9 Audi is clocked at 22.1s over the #8, with Davidson still over a full lap further behind.
18h51m Danny Watts into the pits in the #42 Strakka HPD, which currently has a two lap advanatge at the front of LMP2. Smooth stop, with Watts ending another very impressive run and Nick Leventis - who struggled a little during the night - clambering in to replace him.
18h52m We mentioned earlier how close the #95 and #89 Ferraris were out on circuit, and Fisichella's accident should allow the #89 Hankook car to jump up into second.
18h53m Marco Holzer now into the pits in the #97 Porsche 997, which is fourth currently in GT2.
18h54m The #50 Saleen is finally out of the the garage after that earlier off in the gravel. It has retained an advantage of around five laps over the #50 Young Driver AMR car.
18h55m Busy pitlane right down the GT2 class, with the #85 Spyker and #83 Ferrari 430 both stopping - the pair are currently propping up the class standings.
18h55m The #8 Audi has been in for a stop, which will put it back over a minute behind the leading #9 car.
18h56m Sure enough the #89 Hankook Ferrari jumps Fisichella's #95 Ferrari 430 to move into second in class. Allan Simonsen doing avery good job in the #89 car.
18h56m The lead petrol car - #009 Lola-Aston Martin - is off after an unusual spin under braking at the first Mulsanne chicane.
18h57m Marino Franchitti in the #26 Highcroft HPD now in the pits - just a straight forward stop and they'll rejoin in second, still around six laps ahead of the #35 Pescarolo-Judd in third.
18h58m Juan Barazi has been helped out of the gravel in the #009 Lola-Aston Martin and is heading back to the pits at less than full pace.
19h00m The AUTOSPORT pit reporters have just confirmed the #26 Highcroft HPD has problems with a water leak, which neccesitated the last pitstop.
19h00m #009 is still ahead of the #15 Kolles Audi and the #008 but will need to get back up to speed quickly after this stop to keep that position.
19h03m Mechanics working extremely hard on that #95 Ferrari 430 following Fisichella's accident, but the car won't be going anywhere fast with the entire front being examined and pulled apart at the moment.
19h06m Very long pit stops for the #85 Spyker and the #83 Ferrari 430, although Spyker are looking to get back out on circuit shortly.
19h08m Highcroft confirm that Marino is back out on circuit, but now his car is travelling very slowly indeed out on track and it looks like he'll be limping back to the pits again. The team has a four lap advantage over third, but that's certainly getting eaten into at the moment...
19h09m The lead #77 Felbermayr Porsche 997 comes into the pits for fuel and a screen wash, with Richard Lietz maintaining driving duties.
