Tander wins again in race three

Garth Tander continued his strong 2007 form by winning race three at Winton Motor Raceway, as he won his seventh race of the season

Tander led from start to finish apart from a few laps after his compulsory pit stop, with Jamie Whincup again in second place and Tander's teammate completing the top three finishers.

After struggles with poor weather in the first two races, a fairly dry track meant there was only one safety car period in the middle of the race.

Despite winning two out of three races for the second round in a row, Tander finished second overall for the round, this time ahead of his teammate Kelly, with Team Vodafone's Jamie Whincup taking the round win.

Rick Kelly maintains the championship lead with 224 points, but only by one point over teammate Garth Tander. Third-placed Jamie Whincup is 55 points behind Tander with Todd Kelly a further 15 points back.

James Courtney, who is fifth in the standings has 112 points, the same margin he is behind leader Rick Kelly.
