Morgan to contest Eurofirst round

Team Brask's sole female driver is set to compete in the Eurofirst Winter Series round at Silverstone this Saturday

The outfit is looking to place 27-year-old Lisa Morgan in a top-level national category, after she completed her first season of racing in the Legend series, which is part of the Eurocar package.

Renault Spider sensation Andy Priaulx will be at Silverstone to support Morgan.

He broke national racing history this year, by taking the Renault Spider series title with a clean sweep of 13 wins out of as many races.

'We went testing for the very first time at Silverstone on Tuesday,' Morgan told Autosport Online.

'It's the first time I've sat in the car, and it's a question of track and car familiarisation.'

Team Brask manager director Alf Boarer says the outfit is keen to further its only female driver's racing career.

'We believe that British Motorsport is desperate for a top female driver and it is our intention to progress Lisa through to, at least, a competitive level in Palmer Audi and hopefully onto International status within the single-seater category,' he said.
