Reutimann replaces Busch in Pocono's Sprint Cup race

David Reutimann will replace Kurt Busch in next weekend's Sprint Cup event at Pocono

Reutimann, usually driving the #10 car for Tommy Baldwin Racing, will step into the #51 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet to fill in for the 2004 Sprint Cup champion, who serves a one-week suspension.

On Monday NASCAR announced Busch violated a probation status he was serving as part of his penalties for pit road incidents he was involved at Darlington. Last Saturday he verbally abused a NASCAR journalist after being asked a reaction following a Nationwide Series event at Dover.

Although Busch is expected to be back behind the wheel at Michigan next week, on Tuesday Phoenix Racing's James Finch spoke to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio and showed increased concern looking ahead, as his team is currently without a sponsor and his driver's actions both on and off the track are not helping matters, he reckoned.

"Here's the deal: Quit wrecking the cars, get a good finish, be nice to people, that's not real hard to do," said Finch. "It's affecting me. If I can't get a sponsor, I can't keep running without a sponsor. That's a slow death. I don't want to do that."

Finch added: "Hopefully if we can get Kurt's mind right, we can win some races. If we can't get his mind right so we can race into the future, then I'll go do something else. It's just that simple. I'm doing my part.

"We've wrecked 14 cars this year. Four at Daytona. We've killed three or four cars and had to completely throw them away."

Dave Blaney, usually driving the #36 for TBR, will take over the #10 car while Tony Raines will be in the #36.
