Winslow to join Great Britain at Taupo
Australian Formula Three race winner James Winslow will join A1GP Team Great Britain for the rookie sessions at Taupo, New Zealand this weekend
The 26-year-old Melbourne-based Briton will also drive in the rookie sessions at Eastern Creek, Australia, where he has previously raced in F3, on February 3.
He said: "I'm glad the team is able to take advantage of my experience in Australia over the last couple of years and I hope to repay their faith in me with some strong performances.
"It will be my first visit to Taupo and my first time in an A1GP car but I'm excited about the opportunity, especially at Eastern Creek which I know well."
Formula Renault Eurocup champion Brendon Hartley will also make his series debut at Taupo, driving for Team New Zealand in the rookie sessions.
The 18-year-old, who will race for Carlin Motorsport in British F3 this season, said: "I won't be able to rely on home advantage because it's a while since I've raced in New Zealand, and I've never driven round Taupo, but I'm keen to help out any way I can and contribute towards the team winning."
