Markus Pommer claims Formula 2 race two pole at Paul Ricard
Markus Pommer claimed his second Formula 2 pole position of the season, at Paul Ricard, edging out Saturday's race winner Matheo Tuscher in a tight qualifying session
In a reversal of the front row from race one, Pommer took pole in the final throws of the qualifying session, usurping Tuscher with seconds to go.
Christopher Zanella endured a difficult race on Saturday, but managed to regain some of his pace from free practice to claim third on the grid, edging out Kevin Mirocha.
Dino Zamparelli outqualified Luciano Bacheta to start fifth on the grid, with the championship leader once again struggling in the dry qualifying session.
Mihai Marinescu was unable to get over Saturday's difficulties to qualify in seventh ahead of the impressive Plamen Kralev.
Daniel McKenzie could not keep up his podium form, ending the session a disappointing 10th behind Alex Fontana.
