125cc: Gadea retains pole in France

Sergio Gadea retained pole position after the final 125cc qualifying session at Le Mans, as yesterday's provisional front row was completely confirmed today

Gadea did not improve on the time he set yesterday, and was in fact almost one second slower today, but his time of 1:43.515 set in the first qualifying session kept him in first spot.

Briton Bradley Smith, who went within 0.025 seconds of that time today, will start the race from second. Smith was the only front row rider improving on the time he set yesterday.

Stefan Bradl and Simone Corsi did not improve on their times today and will retain their third and fourth spots on the grid.

Sandro Cortese's second fastest time today was enough to qualify him in fifth, ahead of the first non-Aprilia bike of Mike di Meglio, who did not improve today after losing his Derbi and crashing it on the front straight with 12 minutes of the session to go.

Nicolas Terol qualified seventh, ahead of Gabor Talmacsi in eighth, Esteve Rabat in ninth, and Pol Espargaro in tenth.
