Capacity Indy entry revealed
The 2004 Indianapolis 500 has attracted a 35-car entry to virtually guarantee a capacity 33-car field for the race on May 30
Worries that the introduction of 3-litre engines this year might preclude a full turn-out at Indy now look to have been put aside and with new aero-restrictions also being introduced hopes are high for a competitive race.
There are still plenty of vacant seats for top name drivers to fill, including plum rides in third cars at Panther and Penske.
