Ryan Hunter-Reay extends Andretti Autosport IndyCar deal
Ryan Hunter-Reay will remain an Andretti Autosport driver into the 2015 IndyCar season and beyond after signing a multi-year contact extension with the team at Milwaukee
Hunter-Reay has been with Michael Andretti's team since 2010.
"I can't say enough about this partnership and how much we've done together," said Hunter-Reay, who won the Indianapolis 500 this year and was IndyCar Series champion in 2012.
"We've grown as a team; we've grown as a family. Andretti Autosport for me feels like family.
"I'm really happy to have the stability of continuing with the #28 team and the entire Andretti Autosport crew.
"I know with that continuity and that security we can come up with many more successes in the future."
The team also confirmed that DHL has signed a three-year deal to remain on as the primary sponsor of Hunter-Reay's car.
"Having a driver as dedicated as Ryan and a partner as supportive as DHL is what every IndyCar team strives to achieve," said team owner Andretti.
"I'm happy to have shared the last few years with them and look forward to all of the success that will no doubt be in our future together."
Hunter-Reay sits third in the championship going into the Milwaukee race weekend - highest of all the Andretti Autosport drivers.
