Filipe Albuquerque leads final practice session for Daytona 24 Hours

Albuquerque ended up on a 1m34.358s in the #5 Cadillac DPi.V-R in the 60-minute session, which put him exactly four-tenths clear of Olivier Pla in the fastest of the two Mazda RT24-Ps.

The time from Albuquerque would have been good enough to put the Action Express car fifth on the grid for the opening round of the IMSA Sportscar Championship.

Frederic Makowiecki was fastest in GT Le Mans class aboard the factory CORE-run Porsche 911 RSR that Nick Tandy put on the class pole.

The Frenchman posted a 1m42.478s at the end of session to move ahead of the Ganassi Ford GT in which Dirk Muller had topped the times with a 1m42.612s.

Jan Magnussen was third in the best of the Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rs just ahead of Richard Westbrook in the second of the Fords.

Quickest in GT Daytona was Pedro Lamy in the Spirit of Race Ferrari 488 GT3.
