FIA GTs Anderstorp: Ferrari wins
Torrential rain in Sweden failed to stop Andrea Piccini and Jean-Denis Deletraz from recording their second straight win in the FIA GT series
Conditions were so bad that the field spent almost an hour touring around behind the Safety Car while the race officials waited for the rain to abate. When the race finally resumed, Piccini snatched the lead during the second hour and held it to the end.
In second place, over 20s behind the winners, was the Labre Competition Viper of Bouchut and Terrien. However, six points was a good result for the pair, who now share the championship lead with Lister's Jamie Campbell-Walter and Nicolaus Springer. The Storm pairing had two spins early in the race and retired before half distance.
The Carsport Holland team benefited from Lister's misfortune to take third and fourth positions. The 'Dutch' car of Hezemans and Kumpen was just a few seconds behind second place, and a similar amount ahead of the 'Italian' car in fourth.
For the third race in a row the Freisinger Porsche of Ortelli and Collard took N-GT honours, to move Ortelli to the head of the standings.
