Team GBR looking for first win
Team Great Britain are looking to put right their nightmare from last season's Indonesian round when A1GP returns to the Sentul circuit next weekend
Robbie Kerr led much of the feature race last season and had been fastest in qualifying, but strategy errors by the time robbed them of their first victory.
Great Britain have moved up to second into the standings with two consecutive feature race podium finishes, and team boss John Surtees believes that a first win is just around the corner.
"Victory could be a real possibility in Indonesia next week," he said. "Robbie put the British car on pole last year and he was extremely quick throughout the feature race."
Surtees is pleased with how the new team structure has gelled in the opening races of the year, and he thinks that they will continue to be competitive at every race.
"I don't think you can rule out any of the races as we've been competitive everywhere," he said. "We haven't had the best of fortune but at the same time we've come home with some sound results."
Kerr is also looking forward to going back to Indonesia, where he was so impressive last season.
"I'm pleased we are up to second in the standings heading to Indonesia," he said. "I'm confident we'll be even stronger on our return there."
