Racing review: All the results

AUTOSPORT brings you the definitive who won what, and where, round-up from throughout the racing world last weekend

This weekend saw new stars taking breakthrough victories in both China and Long Beach, just as former champions returned to the top in other series.

The maiden triumphs came from Red Bull Racing in the sodden Chinese Grand Prix, and De Ferran Motorsports in round two of the American Le Mans Series.

On the other side of the coin, popular veteran Mark Martin was overjoyed to end his lengthy NASCAR Sprint Cup losing streak. Dario Franchitti did not have to wait that long between IndyCar Series wins, but his Long Beach victory still marked his first success since returning from NASCAR.

There was also a new winner in the Formula Renault 3.5 series - this weekend's only European action - as Marcos Martinez commanded both Saturday's uneventful opener and Sunday's bizarre second round.
