Peter wins in photo-finish

Dorricott Mears Racing team mates Philipp Peter and Casey Mears finished 1-2 in the Indy Lights race at Michigan, breaking the record for the closest finish in the formula in the process

A photo-finish had to be used to prove which of the pair had won the race. Peter had taken the lead on the second lap and controlled the race from then onwards, despite the pressure from Mears. Polesitter Jonny Kane struggled slightly in the race and dropped to 7th.
