'Masters' back on track at Sepang
Fresh from their exploits in Kyalami last weekend, three 'Grand Prix Masters' will take to the track again almost immediately
Emerson Fittipaldi, Jan Lammers and Alan Jones will all take part in a celebrity race to support this weekend's A1 Grand Prix meeting in Sepang.
However, the trio will not be driving in 650 bhp single seaters - they will instead be driving rather less powerful Proton Satria R3 tin tops.
Jones had to pull out of the GP Masters race in Kyalami last weekend due to neck problems in the single-seater, however it's expected that the slower Protons will not provide the Australian former World Champion with a physical problem.
They will be joined by other A1 GP names - series founder Sheikh Maktoum and former F3000 racer and A1 GP general manager Stephen Watson.
Other Malaysia celebrities will also take part - A1 Team Malaysia's Alex Yoong's sister Pippa will race, as will national rally champion Kamarjit Singh and Formula BMW driver Aaron Lim.
Organisers are hoping more names will be confirmed prior to this weekend.
