Kerr not worrying about first win
Robbie Kerr is not letting the chase for a maiden victory in A1GP get in the way of Team Great Britain's championship charge
The Briton has scored several podiums in the series since it started in September 2005, but a victory has somehow eluded Kerr and the team so far.
However, consistent finishes in the first season enabled Great Britain to finish third in the standings, and they are currently second this season with three podium finishes so far.
"We are always chasing that win, but it's much better to be consistent," Kerr told autosport.com. "Winning is what we are about, but we would rather score points all the time than take an odd win."
Kerr closed the gap to series leaders Germany in the sprint race at Sentul, but a retirement in the feature race means the gap is now 12 points.
"It's better for our championship bid if we can keep getting podiums, and we know that eventually that first win will come, so we're not letting it bother us," he added.
"Everyone has had their fair share of good and bad luck, and eventually our chance will come to close the gap."
