Johnson and Pastrana for RoC
Team USA will be represented by Jimmie Johnson and Travis Pastrana for this year's Race of Champions in Paris
Both drivers have previous experience of the event in the French stadium. NASCAR championship contender Johnson also helped win the event for USA in the Canary Islands in 2002.
"I'm looking forward to getting out there and representing the USA and NASCAR," said Johnson.
"Typically you don't get to race against the top competitors from F1, rally and Champ Cars but this event allows you to with it's creative format."
One year ago, Pastrana was better known for his motorbike exploits, but in 2006 he has already clinched the North American Rally Championship.
"I'm glad to have another opportunity to race with the best drivers in the world," he said.
"Last year I was a bit off the pace but with more experience under my belt I expect to be a contender."
Other drivers already confirmed for the event on December 16 include Jenson Button, David Coulthard, Sebastien Loeb, Marcus Gronholm, Colin McRae, Sebastien Bourdais and Tom Kristensen.
