Jarvis to race in Mexico
Oliver Jarvis will make his second race appearance for Team Great Britain in the next round at Mexico City
The former McLaren Autosport BRDC young driver of the year scored a podium on his first appearance for the team in China last November, as he took a second place in the feature race around the Beijing street track.
"I'm thrilled to be back racing for the team," said Jarvis. "I enjoy doing my bit in the rookie sessions but there's no substitute for actually racing."
The team will take advantage of Jarvis' rookie status to give them as much track time as possible with one driver at a circuit that is new to the series.
Team boss John Surtees said: "Oliver certainly proved his worth when he raced for us last time and we're hopeful he can deliver for us again in Mexico."
The team has endured a difficult second half of the season since the beginning of 2007, although their regular driver Robbie Kerr took a podium last time out in Durban.
Kerr will be with the team in Mexico to offer any help that he can to Jarvis and the rest of the outfit.
