Colbert in Aurok link-up

Colbert, who had planned to race in the SEAT Cupra Championship this season, tested for the team at Snetterton last Tuesday. He is currently looking for further funding to complete the year in the team's fourth car ahead of a full championship assault with Aurok next season

Team boss Jules Phillips said: "We're keen to run Stephen, and it will help us to have a proven quick driver in the car. The deal is there. We really want to see him out there."

Sometime European Touring Car Championship racer Tom Ferrier is another big name to secure a major ride, and will compete in this weekend's Caterham R400 Challenge round at Oulton Park.

Ferrier, who has been competing this season in the AVO Ginetta Championship, will drive for Team Parker Racing, which he ran for in the Roadsport Challenge in 1998.
"The team has told me that if I don't win, I can't bring the car back into the awning," joked Ferrier. "I'm just trying to get out and drive as many things as I can. The Caterham is really enjoyable to drive, so it's going to be good fun."
