BMW calls up Priaulx for Macau
Newly-crowned European Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx has been drafted into the factory BMW squad for the classic end-of-season Guia Race Trophy touring car event at Macau

The Guernseyman, who raced around the streets of the Chinese province in Formula 3, will switch over from his usual RBM-run Team Great Britain BMW 320i and will join Jorg and Dirk Muller in the Schnitzer Motorsport works squad.
The Macau event will be run to the FIA's Super 2000 regulations for the first time as it prepares to become a fully fledged round of the inaugural World Touring Car Championship in 2005.
ETCC privateer Carly Motors, which has dominated the event in recent years, will also return with another two ETCC-spec BMW 320is, driven by Tom Coronel and three-time Guia winner Duncan Huisman.
Alfa Romeo's factory ETCC team Autodelta had planned to take part in the event with two cars, but announced its withdrawal from the event at the end of last month in favour of an extensive testing programme. The ETCC's other race-winning manufacturer in 2004, SEAT, is believed to be taking three cars to Macau.
