Blundell gets practice boost
Mark Blundell was fastest in the warm-up for the Honda Indy 300 at Surfer's Paradise
The PacWest driver will start from way back on row twelve of the grid, but appears to have improved his race set-up, beating a similarly inspired Robby Gordon in the half-hour session.
Tony Kanaan was quick throughout and wound up third fastest, but the title contenders appeared unwilling to demonstrate their true pace, neither Dario Franchitti nor Juan Montoya truly threatening.
