Alzen on pole for decider
Uwe Alzen has taken pole for the final round of the German Super Touring series, the STW Cup
The Opel driver is fighting for the title with Audi privateer Christian Abt, and goes into the meeting 22 points behind with 90 available.
Abt qualified fifth at the Nurburgring, alongside Roland Asch in the Irmscher Vectra, leaving the J.A.S Honda's of Gabriele Tarquini and Tom Kristensen to challenge Alzen at the head of the field.
