Autosport's team of expert journalists got together to try to assess who were the top 50 drivers of 2025. Here are the results.
Just as they did before their victorious 2022 season in the first British Touring Car Championship campaign with hybrid, Tom Ingram, engineer Spencer Aldridge and Excelr8 Motorsport put the testing hard yards in early for 2025, for the switch back to no hybrid.
That week at Anglesey with team-mate Tom Chilton in October 2024 left all confident that their Hyundais would be a force. And weren’t they just… One error (at Snetterton) aside, Ingram drove beautifully – and raced superbly – all year to take his second crown. Consistency was key, but Ingram also won the most races to wrap things up emphatically.
