Top 50 Drivers of 2025

Autosport's team of expert journalists got together to try to assess who were the top 50 drivers of 2025. Here are the results.

Should we have been surprised that a driver who was at the forefront of Audi’s GT3 campaigns over eight seasons as a factory driver did the business on joining BMW for 2025? Of course not, but then no one could have predicted just what was to come for Kelvin van der Linde.

Victory in four out of the five Intercontinental GT Challenge enduros, with two teams and no fewer than five different team-mates, gave him the title, while he also took the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup with Charles Weerts. The South African was probably at his best at the Suzuka 1000Km IGTC round.
