Autosport Top 50 of 2024: #29 Mikkel Jensen

There was proof positive once again over the course of 2024 that Mikkel Jensen is an absolute top-line sportscar driver. As in Peugeot’s first full season in the World Endurance Championship, he was the stand-out man in its roster.

His charges in the final stages at both Fuji and in Bahrain were a joy to watch. The Dane admittedly had fresh tyres to exploit thanks to a speculative strategy on the part of his team, but he delivered when the chips were down. A fourth place and then a first podium for the 9X8 in over a year were the reward.

Jensen was the standout Peugeot performer this year, helping the French marque to its only podium of the year in Bahrain
