All the results from the weekend

AUTOSPORT brings you the definitive who won what, and where, round-up from throughout the racing world last weekend

Scott Dixon scored his 20th Indy Racing League victory and reclaimed the top spot in this year's championship with a dominant display at Mid-Ohio.

The two-time champion toppled Aussie Ryan Briscoe from the head of the title race as Briscoe finished half a minute down the road and only just held off Dario Franchitti for second.

Also at Mid-Ohio, Gil de Ferran and Simon Pagenaud chalked up their fourth consecutive American Le Mans Series win, on the same weekend that de Ferran announced his retirement from driving duties at the end of this year.

Road course expert Marcos Ambrose beat Kyle Busch to the NASCAR Nationwide victory at Watkins Glen. But the Sprint Cup event has been postponed until Monday due to rain. Ambrose will line up fourth this time, with reigning champion Jimmie Johnson on pole.
